Vijay Krishna Rao, the founder of the Swatantra Congress Party, is a prominent trade union leader. He is also the founder of the Maharashtra State Tour and Travels Bus Owners, Operators, and Agents Workers Association. Additionally, he serves as the Secretary of the Rashtrabadi Labour Cell, Maharashtra State, at the undivided Rashtrabadi Congress Party. He is actively involved with the Maharashtra Rajya Mathadi Transport and Jenral Kamgar Union (registered).
